MEDIA CONTACT INFO

Contacting the Follies Media Department is simple. We are more than happy to provide you with information and look forward to your contact!

To ensure that your media visit is as easy and productive as possible, the Follies has set forth the following media guidelines:

  • Working media, on assignment, are welcome to cover certain Follies performances.
  • Upon verification of credentials, the member of the media will receive 2 (two) tickets for the date or reasonable alternative date of his/her choice. (Television crews may require more seats.)  Since shows do sell out and the schedule is taxing on our performers, there is a chance that an alternative date or performance time will be necessary.
  • High-resolution digital images are available on CD or may be downloaded at http://www.psfollies.com/press/.  Broadcast video B-roll is also available for download at the same URL or is available on mini-DV or disc in either .mov or .dv formats.  Music clearances are the responsibility of broadcaster.
  • Any additional photography (still or television) must be prearranged and pre-approved by the Media Relations Manager well in advance of the requested date.
    • Once approved, all photography or filming is stationary.  Crews may not move through the house.
    • No exits or audience views may be obstructed.
    • Filming may be interrupted/canceled at the discretion of the Follies Producer.
    • A member of the Follies staff must accompany film and/or photo crews at all times.
    • Any video taping of a Follies performance must utilize direct audio feeds. Three locations are available for direct and house feeds.
    • All interviews must be prearranged and pre-approved by the Media Relations office well in advance of the interview date.
    • Because of the nature of our performance schedule, certain dates and performers may not be available for interviews.
  • All interviewers must see the performance prior to interviewing any cast members.
    • Cast may not be interviewed during the “meet and greet” in the lobby after the show.
    • A member of the Follies staff must be present at all interviews.
    • Interviews may be canceled at the discretion of the Producer.
    • No interviews are conducted on two-show performance days.
    • Dressing access by media may be available 15 minutes prior to curtain, if pre-arranged.
