The Palm Springs Follies, a major professional for profit musical production is in its 21st successful season! The Production Assistant will work closely with the Production Manager and the stage management team on a variety of levels that include but are not limited to the running of rehearsals, working backstage, dressing cast, creating and maintaining show documentation, training to call a cue heavy musical, and the general running of performances, along with other production responsibilities as necessary. Successful and motivated PA’s have strong possibilities for advancement. The ideal candidate will have had stage management experience at the collegiate level and would preferably have professional stage management experience as well. The position requires good analytical abilities and creative problem solving skills. Excellent note taking skills and the ability to work closely with and relate to diverse groups of people are a plus. Candidates must be highly motivated, organized, detail oriented, with strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Must be able to work in a fast paced, high stakes environment. Computer skills (Mac, Word and Excel proficiency helpful) are required. Position is seasonal, hourly and eligible for overtime plus bonus.
