Last Chance to See Original "Supreme" Mary Wilson
Palm Springs, California (April 26, 2010) After nearly 200 performances, the 19th edition of The Fabulous Palm Springs Follies comes to a close on Sunday, May 16. All season long, the Follies has celebrated happy days with its newest production entitled Let The Good Times Roll!, featuring the greatest good time music of the '40s, '50s and '60s!
Just a few performances remain to hear such Golden Oldies as "Can't Buy Me Love," "My Girl," "Hound Dog," "Devil with the Blue Dress On" and dozens more! From Big Bands and Swing to Doo-Wop, Motown and Pop, this season's Follies has truly been the jukebox of our lives.
This is also the last opportunity to see "Dreamgirl" Mary Wilson perform the hits of the world's most famous female trio, The Supremes, plus other memorable classics.
And concluding his debut Follies' season is ventriloquist extraordinaire Brad Cummings and his prehistoric sidekick "Rex." Since opening day, Cummings has wowed Plaza Theatre audiences at every performance.
As always, lavish production numbers and a star-spangled finale are all performed by a cast old enough to remember the way it really was!
Select seating is still available for Let The Good Times Roll!, but don't delay in securing favorite seats today!
In preparation for the Follies' all-new show opening October 27, 2010, auditions will be held in late May, then the cast returns in August to begin 10 weeks of rehearsals.
Ticket sales for the Follies' 20th anniversary edition begin online mid-July, and the Follies Box Office reopens September 27.
