Follies guest star Freda Payne has received a significant amount of airplay lately on KDES Radio, the Desert's favorite Oldies station, due — in part — to the recent show attendance by the their popular morning personality and program director Danny Fox. Their recent interview was like a trip down memory lane by two experts of a remarkable musical era.

To view a complete selection or place your order, please visit our online store today! ![]() The Follies was honored to take part in the recent Veterans Day Celebration commemorating the 20th anniversary of the General Patton Memorial Museum, located in Chiriaco Summit, California. General Patton chose the area outside Palm Springs (and stretching to Arizona and Nevada) for his Desert Training Center as the terrain so mimicked the harsh conditions of North Africa. Ultimately, one million troops were trained there before heading into combat during WWII.

As you can see from the photos below, groups this year have been especially generous in bringing toys when they visit, even in these difficult economic times. For this, we would like to express our sincerest of thanks. The last pick-up by the Marines here at the Plaza Theatre for this holiday season will be on December 14. If you're not attending the Follies before then, please consider donating a toy at a collection bin in your own town.
